A hostler !

HOSTEL - I read it as HOTEL once. Umm..It could be right !
Childhood dream ! Stay in the hostel . Once a hostellite get away or should i call it RUN to be more appropriate.(Haha... never tried it though ...maybe i should add it to my wishlist). 'If you want something so badly you should be willing to a loose a few during that course ' . Hostel that word never scared me but when i had to stay in one, maybe i was (Okay ! Okay ! I was ). First days are like your on a new planet, breathing new atmosphere. Ragging and roomate two things i had no idea how to handle . Call me lucky ...my first few days had nothing to do with those.

Being a hostler now seems like an awesum experience . Afterall who would not want to spend some extra crazy time with friends (Right ! Everyone would). Late night gossips, outings with friends, spending hours discussing something not very important, bunking classes and staying back at hostel, group study the night before the exam, ghost stories and most importantly cooking(omg!... it was disastrous). Hostel ... a place where life can teach its best lessons of being hard hearted, having the right amount of drama, healthy handle over emotions, adaptability, optimism, multi-tasking (uff... the list long. I know !). Well, I guess hostlers are the people who have maximum reality checks everyday... getting your room cleaned, laundry done, managing your time and dealing with warden(the scary part ;))

Now!time for the reality check :(.Everything has two sides. Nothing can beat the warmth of home. Miss my mom, dad, my bed, fights with my sister,my place on the dinning table, TV remote... argh ! MY HOME ! Almost everything at home. But ultimately you have to deal with life... so thats how hostel becomes your second home. The experiences at hostel makes it all wonderful and memorable. Truth be told two years of hostel and looking at my friends with a toothy grin I would say its worthwhile and deserving.

Wish me luck guys for three more years in the hostel ! Too much philosophy for one post ;) :D

Yours,
Zoya
